Kidney stone

Last night was one of my worst night ever...
I woke up around 4.00, with an extreme pain in my lower left abdomen. Tried to take some pills, but first of all, I could barely walk, and then, the pills didn't work at all.
So I finally decided to call the emergency number. I'm usually not the kind of person that goes to the doctor for small things but this time, I really didn't see what else I could do.
The ambulance came about 20 min later and took me to the hospital. I swear, I've NEVER EVER have so much pain, this was really awful...
I did a few exams, then I finally got a shot of pain killer and around 9.00, I new I had what is called a "kidney stone" (calcul renal pour les francais).
So now I just have to wait that it goes away... and in 2-3 weeks I'll do some X-rays to see if there is some stone left. But apparently there is not much more to do.
However the doctor told me that I'll probably have another crisis when the stone moves... It already makes me sick just by the idea of it...

In this type of situation I really would like to be in France, close to my family and especially my parents of course. But I have wonderful friends here who are so sweet, helpful and present... And also at work, my bosses are very comprehensive.
