Sweet Sunday

Today was all about discoveries, and I like it !

A few days ago, I met Veronica at the gym after a street dance class. She is Swedish and she has this particular thing : she LOVES France ! If you meet her, you'll understand this quickly ;) But more than loving France just for fun, she is really interested in it, in the culture, and she wants to learn French !
So I didn't wait more than 2 seconds to tell her that I wanted to learn Swedish... Then it came naturally to both of us that we could do some kind of "exchange" to teach our language to the other.

And that is why we decided to hang out together today. But of course, the first step is to get to know each other, so except for a few words, we talked in English. French/Swedish lessons will be for later then ;)
This was a very nice afternoon, talking about everything and nothing, but mostly realizing that we have A LOT in common.

Here are the 2 of us at the cafe "La Petite France" ;)

Thank you Veronica ! :) (here is her blog by the way !)

Then this was the first discovery of the day, and really nice one !

The second discovery was... yoga !
Actually I had some initial plans to go to a BodyBalance class, but then Veronica suggested me to follow her at her yoga class. I had never taken any yoga and was curious about it, so I decide to go with her !
It was nice... but most of all it was hard !!! I really didn't think that it would be so physical, so "muscles demanding". I've been used to some yoga practices in the BodyBalance class, but here that was much harder I think.
So the conclusion is that I like it, but still, I prefer BodyBalance. Not really because it's easier, but because there is more variety in the exercises, and also I think it is more "dynamic".

However, the main conclusion of this article is that.. I LOVE discoveries :)

  1. Yes, your´re right - I adore France :) Thank you Marion for a lovely Sunday with a petite France-style, containing discoveries about having a lot in common, sharing a pain au chocolate, and finally ending with a tough yoga class!

  2. Hey Marion!
Didn't know you had a blog. Seems like we both started the blogging experience this year! ;)
Hope everything's ok for you in Sweden, but your notes let me think that's everything's doing fine.
I'll come here sometimes to check how are things in Sweden.
    Take care!

PS: je fais l'effort de l'anglais, mais je promets pas de le faire à chaque fois :p

Nice to hear from you :)
I've been to your blog as well and actually I find it very interesting, even though I'm not a marketing person ;)

Hope everything fine with you and I wish you good luck in your job seeking... or maybe should I say job "hunting" !

And of course you're welcome back on the blog anytime ! :)
