Need to escape

Those past few years I've been traveling quite a lot.

First I spent one year in Atlanta which was a good occasion to move around in the US (New York, Florida, Las Vegas, the National Parks...), then my exchange semester in Hong Kong with those amazing stays in Japan and in Beijing, then my journey in Canada with my mom with a little detour by Chicago, and last year living and discovering Sweden, plus of course those 2 wonderful journeys in Tahiti and New York (again)... Plus different short stays (week-ends) in some big european cities such as London, Munich, Dublin...

Well, I have to say I've been pretty lucky.

The problem with traveling is that, the more you get, the more you want, and I would even say, the more you need. You really get addicted to it. Traveling is like a drug.

Last time I travelled "for real" was in July, for this dance trip in New York, and then one small week-end in London in September. France doesn't count because it's my home country and it doesn't really feel like traveling in the sense of discovering.
For many people, July might seem close, but for me it starts to feel quite far already and I'm in a real need of making some new traveling plans.

Unfortunately (even though I don't regret it), I've spent most of my spared money on my last 2 trips... So I guess I'm gonna go quite close this time...
So, the first plan is to spend a few days in Lapland this winter. Cause since I've been living in Sweden, I haven't moved from Stockholm at all... And then for a "bigger" trip, I might go for a road trip in Norway in the fjords with some friends next summer or in the spring. It's not really decided yet. And maybe some week-end here and there (Gothenburg, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen..)

But at least I have a few things to look forward to during and after this coooooooooold and loooooooooooooong winter.

Talking about cold, I met 2 eskimos during my lunch break today... Eskimo Valerie and Eskimo Marion :)
